The best part of dinner at Durango is the Margaritas. They are wonderful! The night we were there they were on sale for "two for the price of one." Even without this bonus, they are definitely the best tasting part of the meal! The steakhouse looks like every other steak house, which does not mean it is unattractive, just that it looks like every other one! There is traditional Western music playing in the background. Durango's web page states,
"At Durango Steakhouse we provide our guests with a casual Southwestern atmosphere featuring aged, USDA top choice beef cooked over a unique oak fire.
A Varied Menu featuring our signature steaks; fresh seafood and chicken; freshly made bread, soups, salads and assorted appetizers have been proven to be a successful formula.
Our Steaks are fresh USDA top choice grain-fed Midwestern beef. Our wood fire burns hot, searing the meat and sealing in the natural juices and flavor. We go to a lot more trouble to cook the way we do, but when you taste our steaks, you'll know why we do it."
All of this is probably true, but the steak they deliver is not attractive. It looks like a bigger piece has been cut in half to make an inexpensive meal. We did not find the quality to be very good at any price.
