"Nothin Fancy" is an accurate name for this restaurant that serves typical Mexican food. Tom described it as a "Tacky Weirs Beach tourist restaurant trying to imitate a grubby Mexican bar!" It does have a little charm, however. Wendy liked the fact that they served drinks in "Ball" wide mouth caning jars. She also liked most of the meal, but the salad was ruined by the soggy corn chips. She doesn't really like cheap wooden salad bowls either.

Hot Mexican Salad ($6.95) - Good - Shredded lettuce, green pepper, onions, shredded white meat chicken (hot), black olives, grated cheese, and corn chips - if the corn chips had not been soggy or stale, this salad was quite good, there was a good amount of chicken and it was all white meat, the house dressing was excellent (modified French with chunks of onion and tomato) |
